The Bono Regional Director of Health Services, Dr. Abdulai Abukari, has paid a working visit to Tain District Hospital (TDH
The visit, which formed part of his familiarization tour of health facilities in the region, comes a little over a month after he assumed office as Regional Director.
Dr. Abukari was accompanied by the Regional Internal Auditor, Mr. Michael Owusu, and the Regional Pharmacist, Mad. Diana Awuni, who has also recently taken up office in the region.
The visit afforded the Regional Director the opportunity to obtain first-hand information on the operations, prospects and challenges of the hospital.
Dr. Abdulai Abukari is a seasoned public health practitioner with extensive experience, having served as Regional Director of Health Services for the Northern Region and also worked at the Headquarters of the Ghana Health Service.
Prior to visiting the hospital, the team had engagements at the District Health Directorate and the District Assembly. The team subsequently proceeded to Banda District on a similar mission.
