
The 3-day Primary Emergency Care training concluded with a simulation exercise on Friday, 13th February, 2026. The hospital’s Emergency Response Team simulated various cardiac arrest scenarios and how to manage them. These included scenarios of cardiac arrest in a chronic kidney disease patient, an opioid toxicity, and pulmonary embolism, amongst others.



The simulation was witnessed by the general staff and was in collaboration with staff at the Tain Station of the National Ambulance Service.
